Reverend Father David Medina
Father David [pronounced Dah-veed] Medina Raygoza is the son of Candelerio Medina Covarrobias and Maria Gregoria Raygoza de Medina of Guadalajara, Mexico. He is the fourth of six children.

In 1994 he earned a degree in acting from the Universidad Intercontinental in Mexico, and in 1995 completed a degree in philosophy while studying with the Misioneros de Guadalupe. He worked in the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social for three years. He also worked in theater and radio, dancing for eight years with the Ballet Folklorico in Guadalajara. He came to the United States in 1997, working in St. Francis Xavier Parish, Stillwater, and taking classes at the English Institute in Tulsa. In 1998, he began studies for the Diocese of Tulsa at St. Vincent Seminary in Latrobe, PA. He was ordained to the diaconate by Biship Slattery on April 28, 2001, at St. Vincent Seminary.
He received a Master of Arts degree in theology May 11, 2001. In addition to St. Francis Xavior, his pastoral assignments in the diocese have included St. Mary's and St. Bernard's in Tulsa. Father Medina was ordained to the priesthood, June 21st in his home parish in Arquidiócesis de Guadalajara, Guadalajara, Mexico.
Father David is currently assigned as the Associate Pastor of St. John's Catholic University Parish and St. Francis Xavier Parish, Stillwater, OK and St. John the Evangelist Parish, Pawnee, OK.
